The Japanese Canadian Legacies Society is pleased to announce the results of the first intake of the Community Fund Sports stream. Thank you to the elite level athletes and coaches from across the country who applied in this grant stream.

JCLS is grateful for the highly accomplished and experienced Assessment Team who the evaluated the applications. Deep thanks to Gary Kawaguchi, Mitchell Kawasaki, Bill Hatanaka, Jim Kojima, and Vicky Sunohara for their rigorous work on this important stream. Thanks also to Alan Sakai for his support in the assessment process.

Please note: guidelines are being revised for a second intake in the spring, and unsuccessful applicants are encouraged to consider re-applying.
