Education Team Meeting

Recently, a team of BC-based educators gathered at the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre in Burnaby. Joining them was the core Teacher Education advisory committee of Masako Fukawa, Greg Miyanaga, Vivian Wakabayashi Rygnestad, and Connie Kadota, Project Director Mike Perry-Whittingham, and members of the JC Legacies team. This was the first face-to-face meeting of the Teacher Education team. In the course of the invigorating day-long session, the educators were treated to presentations by the advisory committee as well as special guests Mary and Tosh Kitagawa, followed by a round table discussion on next steps. We look forward to updating the community as the Education initiative of JC Legacies moves along.
