Community Fund
Community Fund 2 Infrastructure Recipients
The Infrastructure Building Improvements fund assists Japanese Canadian Organizations. Grants in this stream will assist with renovations, repairs, accessibility upgrades and/or large capital purchases for Japanese Canadian community centres and organizations.
Legacy Infrastructure Projects
The Legacy Infrastructure Project fund assists Japanese Canadian Organizations, providing support to key building renovation or construction projects that preserve and honour the legacy of Japanese Canadians from BC who were impacted by the historic events before, during and after WWII. This could mean key funding support for a new building, or a project that renovates an already established site.
The project will contribute to the purposes of the Community Fund – building a lasting legacy for Japanese Canadians.
