Community Fund 2 – Community Projects Funding Recipients

Community Fund • January 6, 2025

The Japanese Canadian Legacies Society is pleased to announce the funding recipients of the Community Projects stream of Community Fund 2. Due to the high volume of applications we were not able to fund all projects. We thank all applicants for their submissions and for their continued commitment to the Japanese Canadian community.

The JCLS extends huge thanks to the assessment team of Sherri Kajiwara, Kim Kalanj, Mike Matsuo, Alex Miki, Art Miki, David Moritsugu, and Jan Nobuto for their critical and challenging work adjudicating Legacy Community Projects and the three categories of Community Projects: Japanese Canadian Organizations, Non-Japanese Canadian Organizations, and Unincorporated Japanese Canadian Groups.
